HomeRiver Group is looking to hire an experienced Grounds Inspector to join our team. This position requires a responsible individual to ensure that HomeRiver Group residential properties and grounds exhibit an optimum appearance and safe environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Curb Appeal Audit of properties: Check for red curbs, trash, improper parking, etc
  • Patio and front door inspections
  • Delivery of lease violation notices
  • Deliver of any written correspondence from Property Manager to Tenant
  • Follow up on violations given to ensure violations are resolved
  • Walk common areas of property for damages/repairs/liabilities
  • Check grounds to ensure trash enclosures, mailbox areas, and parking lot is clean
  • Check grounds for dog waste and address pet owners who are not following rules
  • Be visible to tenants while addressing any concerns or relay to Property Manager
  • Tag vehicles parked in fire zones, red curbs, handicap spaces without placard
  • Check to make sure gates/fences are intact and signage is up and looking professional
  • Check to make sure flyer box is full of flyers
  • Check vacant units to ensure cleanliness and lights are off/thermostat set
  • Work with Property Manager to communicate improvements/needs
  • Clean grounds and common areas as needed (trash areas, mailbox areas, dog waste, etc)
  • Maintain a professional, customer service oriented demeanor while interacting with guests, owners, and employees.
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must be a reliable worker who is able to perform routine tasks without supervision
  • Flexible availability
  • Manual dexterity and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Fantastic communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1+ years of residential property management or maintenance coordinator experience required
  • A valid driver's license
