The objective of this position is to maintain and manage property owner investments.  The applicant should be comfortable managing on-site, be comfortable on the phone, have a strong work ethic, focused, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, team oriented environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train, manage, and motivate a team of Property Managers who oversee day-to-day field operations as part of the overall product delivery of 3rd party, for-fee, property management of single family rental properties.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify, monitor, adjust the company's key performance indicators, develop plans to achieve goals, and monitor the region's performance.
  • Contribute to the development of regional vendor/maintenance selections.
  • Responsible for Business Development efforts in the assigned Region.
  • Manages all client retention efforts, inclusive of working with existing clients and all referral sources.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience using property management software
  • Advanced experience using MS Office applications
  • The candidate should be computer savvy and quickly adapts to new computer systems

Education, Certifications, and Experience 

  • 4+ years of experience in Property Management
  • College degree preferred
  • Active Hawaii brokers license required
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong aptitude as well as proven track record in effective decision making and problem solving
  • Flexible and ability to multitask and prioritize critical items moment to moment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Focus on results and accountability
  • Listening skills, customer service/teamwork orientation with ability to empathize and provide personal coaching to staff
  • Must be a resident of Hawaii

Interpersonal and Communication Skills 

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and drive to provide superior customer service to all parties
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments, exercise judgment, and take ownership of projects in the absence direct supervision
  • Team player with strong work ethic, pro-active orientation, who can anticipate needs, is assertive, and highly accountable, with a mature and positive attitude
  • An individual who thrives in a busy work environment and can easily multi-task and effectively manage time
